Welcome to Dirt! We’re here to provide men with a simple yet effective skincare routine, something that they can work seamlessly into their daily lives. I started this company because I too did not know what to do with the collection of moisturizers and creams that were collecting in my bathroom over the years. I knew that skincare was important, but did not care enough to make it a staple in my life. I always thought that these routines were predominantly for women, and would take like, 45 minutes every day (and what guy has the time for that?).
I wasn't serious about a skincare routine until my fiancé asked me what I wanted for Christmas in 2023. Knowing that she has a solid skincare practice, I asked her to put one together for me. After implementing it into my daily routine and learning the importance of each product, I set out to investigate what else was out there. I was met with either unisex products or “men’s” branded items that were over $100! I could not in good conscience spend that much money on one singular product, especially one I knew nothing about. So I set out to bring skincare to the dudes; an easy-to-use routine that would not break the bank.
Of course with something that goes on your skin every day, no matter how tough you are, you still need quality ingredients. That’s why all Dirt Skincare products are natural, vegan, paraben and sulfate-free (basically, not poisonous) and of course, made in the good ol’ USA. Our goal is also to help guys understand what they are using and why, and no, the answer is not just “because my significant other said I should”. Skincare is just as important as flossing or washing your hair; it is something that improves complexion, prevents the effects of aging, and ultimately makes you feel good in your own skin.
